The goal node field displays the name of the goal node selected for the simulation set. If no goal node was selected, the field displays the text: “No goal node”. In this case you know that none of the data nodes contain any criticality or sensitivity data.
However, even if you see a node name in the goal node field, this does not guarantee that any of the data nodes contain any criticality or sensitivity data. Remember, such data will be calculated according to the “Crit.” and “Sens.” attributes of the corresponding model nodes, and only if the “# Crit. simulations” field contains a positive number.
To avoid confusion, we recommend that you never select a goal node unless you include the “Crit. simulation” phase. If you follow this rule consistently, you will always be able to tell right away whether or not a result file contains criticality or sensitivity statistics, simply by looking at the “Goal node” field.
